"Barnabas and Paul, men who have risked their lives for the name of our Lord Jesus Christ." (Act 15:25-26)
~Those who fear for their lives will not be able to serve Christ and fulfill the ministry they are given to fulfill. Truth is worth living for and worth dying for; that is the existential test of faith. Safe places, secure zones, comfortable houses, sure income... Jesus said that those who wish to save their lives will lose it (Matt.16:25). Paul didn't consider his life to be more dear to him than to obey Christ. He said, "None of these things move me; nor do I count my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my race with joy, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God. (Act 20:24)
