~To search for peace in the world is like searching for water inside a hot burning oven; the two can't co-exist. The world is at enmity with God in open rebellion. It can accept anything--self-actualization, pantheism, monism, polytheism--except submission to the one true God. There is no peace between God and the world. There is only condemnation and wrath. But, the message of Christmas is "peace on earth", because God has sent us His Peace in His Son, the Prince of Peace, to reconcile us to God, to put an end to all rebellion within, to adopt us, and to make us joint-heirs with Him. What a Blessedness!!
