"To whom little is forgiven, the same loves little." (Lk. 7:47)
~The argumentative, impulsive, ambitious Peter, who always felt he was the better one and that he was so true that he could never deny Jesus was broken the moment he realized that he had failed the Master. But, his shock was only answered by the kindness of the Master who first specially mentions Peter after His resurrection (Mk. 16:7) and comes to commission Him at the lake where Peter had fallen to fishing again (Jn. 21:7). Jesus asked him if he loved Him more than these... It was at a fireside when Peter denied Jesus once. It was at a fireside that He confesses that he loves Him more than all these. To whom much is forgiven, the same loves much...
