Works Vs First Love (Rev.2:2)

"I know your works, your labour... Nevertheless I have this against you, that you have left your first love." (Rev.2:2,4)
~Sometimes we get so busy with works, even ministry works, that we forget we have lost touch with God. God wants our hearts. Our time. He seeks love. Love and communion stay together. A man's life doesn't consist in his many works, accomplishments or possessions. True sense of life comes from hearing the voice of God, for man shall not live by bread alone but by "every" word that God is speaking. And, He speaks to us "today", everyday. Are we listening to "every" word of His? When we love God, we come to Him as we are, longing to hear Him speak into our hearts. Are we listening?
