"So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree desirable to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate." (Gen.3:6)
~Sometimes, when we are listening to wrong voices, it's possible to be so convinced about falsehood (to "see" the false as true) that we end up in wrong choices. We mistake subjective feelings for objective truth. Truth is truth whatever we feel about it. Faith may be unseen, something we can't understand or feel convincing. However, when we know that this is the word of God, better stand on it. To stand strong in faith also means to not engage in unnecessary dialogue with the cunning devil. Do you presume to be more intelligent than Jesus? He just quoted the Word!! When you know something is wrong, don't allow yourself to be engaged in any thinking or mental reasoning, or conversation that is intent on trying to change your convictions. Just believe, just obey.
